I love to crochet! So I learned how to crochet Granny Squares last week and I wanted to try one of my patterns. First I need to explain my Graph Book. My friend Jessica and I enjoy making patterns out of just squares (like 8-bit games). So we bought these nice graph books from Barnes and Noble in 2005. Since then we've made over 100 patterns combined. It can take a while to make one, plus I have multiple hobbies and have to make time to work on these. We use Sharpie Ultra Fine point markers for most. So combine my Graph Book with my newly learned crocheting talent and you get these examples! :D
Pattern #1:

I think the problem with this one might be all the extra grey I'll have to make. I was set on this one at first, but I'm wavering. Maybe I should make the squares blue instead of green.
Pattern #2:

I kind of like this one. But is it too simple? meh?
Pattern #3:

This is the pattern I'm working on right now. I just changed the colors based on what I crocheted.
Pattern 4:

I was mainly against doing a zig-zag because I can already do that kind of pattern with a double stitch, but it kind of looks cool. Though I like this one too I'm going to resist doing a zig-zag.
I'll come up with more examples after I crochet more Granny Squares.
